In some cases, you may need a delicate and detailed solo on top of a powerful orchestra. This "SPITFIRE SOLO STRINGS" by a famous London player is a solo strings sound source that connects to the symphonic and chamber strings that SPITFIRE AUDIO is proud of.

With the same location as Symphonic and Chamber Strings, as well as nice equipment and mic positions, and also rich in articulations, this new library has the same DNA as the existing SPITFIRE OECHESTRA library. At the Acoustic Luxury Air Lyndhurst (London's world-class AIR STUDIOS), we carefully recorded solo players using 2-inch tape with attractive rich sound.

Six years ago, SPITFIRE AUDIO released one of its first libraries, Solo Strings. Since then, SPITFIRE AUDIO has accumulated more than 2,500 hours of sampling experience. In the process, I knew it was time to re-record "Solo Strings." Whether it's a movie, a game, or pop, the composer can add solo strings to the large strings section to not only add personality to the strings sound, but also to write emotional solos. Become. Imagine a cello solo violin with the themes of John Williams' Schindler's List, Arvo Part's Fratres, John Corigliano's Red Violin, and Game of Thrones.

Soloists are outstanding players, recording and sampling in a unique way. We at SPITFIRE AUDIO offered a variety of mic positions and articulations to match the texture of the instrument, and we needed to perfectly harmonize this new library with symphonic and chamber strings. This library can be played in 3 different modes and 3 different players: Virtuoso, 1st Desk, Progressive. Each has its own articulation as well as a variety of styles. Virtuoso is a soloist who plays before the orchestra. The 1st Desk is recorded at the 1st Violins front desk, adding personality and core to the strings line. SPITFIRE AUDIO's 1st Desk is in a position to lead the orchestra. Progressive was designed to fit in a larger string section and was recorded far away from the conductor. In addition, it has modern expressiveness such as "Mandolin pizzicato" and "Tremolo whispers".

For this library, SPITFIRE AUDIO has worked with a group of internationally acclaimed musicians with treasure-like experience as "first call" soloists. These players can be heard in many Hollywood film scores: Jack Liebeck (Violin --Virtuoso), Clio Gould (Violin --1st Desk), Thomas Gould (Violin --Progressive), Max Baillie (Viola), Richard Harwood ( Cello), Leon Bosch (Double Bass).

Hall
Like many SPITFIRE AUDIO libraries, we at SPITFIRE AUDIO have returned to the hall of London's world-famous recording studio, Air Studios, to include this new library. The studio is where the music of many famous films such as Dunkirk, Beauty and the Beast, Wonder Woman, Paddington 2, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, The Dark Knight, and Gladiator were recorded. And this new library was recorded by a world-renowned engineer. From precious ribbons and valve mics through the world's largest Neve Montserrat preamps, we use a Prism AD converter at 96k. That's why this hall has been the director of Hollywood for decades.
