AMS Neve / 1073N

A mic preamp unit that can be retrofitted to the 80 Series Neve Classic Console. A 1073 mic preamp that faithfully reproduces the circuit of the legendary 1073 mic preamp while incorporating additional features for the modern era.

■ 1073 Classic to the present day
Designed and manufactured in the United Kingdom, the modern 1073N is designed according to the original specifications, and by matching the components, the sound is faithfully reproduced. The Class A design of the 1073N mic preamp features a 3-band EQ (fixed HF plus switchable 2-band with cut / boost function) and a high-pass filter. The combination of the 1073N mic preamp and EQ adds warmth and depth to your recordings.

Based on the features of the 1073 Classic Module, the 1073N includes built-in DI inputs, I / O connectors for direct connection of mics and instruments, and other equipment, phantom power for powered mics, and PSU for stand-alone use. It is equipped with additional functions.
It can also be mounted in a compatible rack / housing or retrofitted to the 80 Series Neve Classic Console.

-Adopts a dedicated Neve Marinair transformer for input and output
・ Line input: Input impedance 10kΩ, gain + 20dB to -10dB (5dB step)
-DI input: Input impedance 10M ohm (PAD off) / 10K ohm (PAD on) 5dB step from gain + 80dB to + 20dB
・ Output: Maximum output is 600Ω> + 26dBu
・ The output is trans-balanced and ground-free.
・ Distortion: 0.07% or less at + 20dBu output from 50Hz to 10kHz
・ Frequency characteristics: ± 0.5dB at 20Hz to 20kHz, -3dB at 40kHz
