SSL (Solid State Logic) / SSL MADI Opti-Coax

SSL / MADI Opti-Coaxは、最大64chの双方向（入出力）オーディオ信号の伝送方式を光 ～ 同軸で変換できるハンディーなフォーマット・コンバーターです。

MADI signal is a format that transmits up to 64 channels of audio signals with a single cable. Two-way (input / output) is transmitted with one pair (two) cables. There are two methods for MADI transmission, one using an optical fiber and the other using a 75Ω coaxial cable.

SSL MADI Opti-Coax is a handy format converter that can convert up to 64 channels of bidirectional (input / output) audio signal transmission method optical and coaxial. The front panel provides a set of optical (SC type) connectors and a set of coaxial (BNC) connectors.

The audio signal is converted in real time and there is no worry of delay or deterioration. By using this format converter, it is possible to extend from a coaxial cable connection with a maximum transmission distance of 50 m to an optical fiber connection with a maximum transmission distance of 2000 m. In addition, it is also possible to use existing camera cables, etc. in the method using optical fiber.
