Acoustic Object Synthesizer
The Chromaphone 3 is a two-voice synthesizer based on eight physically modeled acoustic resonators. This versatile instrument offers a fun mix of unique tones with a realistic presence not found on other instruments. Chromaphone 3 comes with over 1000 presets to take full advantage of state-of-the-art acoustic object synthesis.

You can use macros that are mapped to key sound characteristics such as modulation, timbre, envelope, and effects. Browsing and fine-tuning is now possible so that you can concentrate on sound makeup.

Chromaphone 3's new browser, including packs, sounds, categories and creators view, allows you to efficiently find the sounds you want.

■ 2 voice multitimbral
Chromaphone 3 combines two independent tones. By using stacks or splits, you can create a high-performance, textured and spacious sound.

■ Resonator-The Heart of Object Synthesis
Chromaphone 3 is equipped with eight acoustic resonators modeled for each shape and material. Combine strings, plates, drumheads, membranes, beams, bars, and tubes to recreate a real instrument or create your own. With just a few knobs, you can mold metal, carve wood, stretch skin, and become an instrument maker.

The Chromaphone was the first synthesizer to take into account the coupling effect between resonators. Our unique technology accurately models the interactivity of the energy flow between resonators and how they interact to capture the important acoustic characteristics of the instrument.

Chromaphone 3 has a wealth of effects in three independent racks. Reverb, delay, distortion, phaser, chorus, flanger, filter, equalizer, compressor, guitar amp, tremolo and all the other effects support the finishing touches of your sound.

■ MIDI control for each sound
Chromaphone 3 includes four layer-by-layer performance macros that respond to user-defined MIDI controls. Each sound has modulation, timbre, envelope, and effect morphing assignments that you can play in real time to enhance your level of sound and expressiveness.
