"Superstar Classic" is an all-maple shell drum set. The thinly molded maple shell responds delicately to any tuning, producing a pleasing sound omission and a bright, clear sound. In addition, the hoop is made of steel with an outward bend, which further enhances the open and relaxed sound of the maple material. The tom depth is a little shallower, making it easier to add a fill-in look, and the height setting when mounted on the bass drum has a wider range.
