Featuring premium grade parts and a pure gold-plated diaphragm capsule, the TM1 delivers crystal clear audio with a cardioid pickup pattern and 132 dB dynamic range. The package includes a shock mount with built-in pop shield, a dedicated dust cover and a 6m microphone cable.

The Need for Condenser Microphones
Condenser microphones are ideal for recording vocals and acoustic instruments and are the primary type of microphone used in recording studios and radio stations. The TM1 microphone is able to capture much more detail than most dynamic microphones due to its wide and flat frequency response. Another difference between condenser and dynamic microphones is that they contain active circuitry that requires phantom power (+48 V) to operate. The TM1 can be powered using a mixing console equipped with phantom power.
