Paragon is a true convolution reverb with the flexibility and control of traditional algorithmic reverbs, allowing you to edit the sound of realistic spaces in ways that were previously difficult to do. Paragon uses resynthesis technology to model 3D recordings of real spaces, giving you full control over reverb decay, room size, and brightness, without time stretching or artificial coloration.

The days of huge IR libraries are over. Why have 30 IRs for churches of different sizes when you can carefully adjust the characteristics of one church?

Paragon's IR library is just the right size, not too big, not too small. No need to store impulse responses. Analyze, decompose and resynthesize 3D impulse responses to create new authentic spaces using cutting-edge technology developed in collaboration with Dr. Jez Wells of the University of York. Paragon's IR panel allows you to seamlessly fine-tune the frequency response and realistic spaces by EQing the reverb model itself or changing the frequency-dependent decay rate.

Reconstructing Real Spaces
Paragon's reverb decay and room size can be significantly longer, larger, shorter or smaller than the original IR space, transforming the space without the artificial coloration of stretching or removing samples. Unlike traditional convolution reverbs, Paragon does not use static impulse responses, allowing you to transparently transform the sound of the space.

Film & TV
As the first 3D-enabled convolution reverb, Paragon is an ideal addition to Dolby Atmos workflows. Paragon's adjustable crosstalk creates a sense of life and interaction between channels, allowing you to generate surround reverb even from mono or stereo sources. For example, you can improve dialogue intelligibility by removing reverb from the center channel, while maintaining a sense of space and position by sending dry center channel audio to the other reverb channel.
