Starclassic G-Mahogany (SGHS146-GNM) is a model that uses a relatively rare thick shell made of mahogany. The mahogany shell molded to a 10mm thick body produces a powerful sound that is characteristic of an extremely thick shell, in addition to its thick, warm sound and sweet, rich shell resonance. In addition, the use of a 10-tension die-cast hoop and a 20-strand high-carbon steel snare creates a clear sound image and a sound that is not buried in the sound of other instruments.
