Krotos, which has won numerous awards for its innovative product lineup including Dehumaniser, Reformer, Weaponiser, and Igniter, has announced its first software synthesizer, ""Concept""!

The interface is laid out in a very easy-to-understand manner, with the oscillator and ADSR on the left and the filter and effect section on the right. The modulation system, which consists of four slots located in the center, is noteworthy. You can freely drag and assign parameters to pitch/envelope followers, LFOX/Y pads, external audio input, and a custom panel called Tweak It!

It also comes with a full range of over 200 presets. The artists who created it are amazing! Presets are provided by cutting-edge creators of all ages, including drum and bass master Roni Size/Reprazant, Richard Devine, who has produced numerous soundscapes from Warp Records, Dom Luxpin of Submotion Orchestra (Ninja Tune), Kayla Painter of Giles Peterson's Brownswood Recordings, Halographic Being from Mathematics Records, and others.

The UI and elements are very well thought out, and can be used in both simple and complex ways. It's perfect as a first synth, and the rich modulation section will impress even synth enthusiasts, and it seems like it will create sounds that stand out from the many software synths available.

Concept, which supports VST/AU/AAX formats, is a software synth that pursues intuition and creativity, and enables a quick and exciting patch creation process. Concept's flexible synth engine supports a wide range of synthesis styles, including traditional synth sounds, more complex and avant-garde textures, and custom sound design elements.

One of its features is a new approach to modulation. At the center of Concept's UI are four highly editable multi-mode modulators, each of which can be mapped to any parameter. Choose from a wide range of flexible modulator options, including the Env/Pitch Follower, X/Y Capture pads, and the unique customization system ""Tweak It"".

Concept also offers three slots for simultaneously inserting a wide variety of high-quality effects. The highlight of the effects suite is a convolution type reverb that can be used in the mix as is. You can also use any IR file, allowing you to create unusual and original effects.

Concept Modulation System
Experience a new approach to modulation with drag-and-drop assignment. Clear color-coded animations and visual feedback give you instant understanding of your mappings.

X/Y Capture
Draw modulation movements directly in the X/Y field. Combine any parameter and capture the movement pattern, all synced to the project tempo. Create unique sounds and melodies instantly.

Audio Input
Input other audio or instruments and use them for modulation and performance inspiration. Create dynamic and rhythmic patches using different elements of the same mix, or mix them with other melodies you've already recorded using the pitch follower to create new and exciting sounds.

Tweak It
Get inspired with a customizable system with controls and individual assignments! Create variations of your patches with one click, from musical changes to complex sonic results.

Effect Slots
FX Rack - Mix and match 10 high-quality effects or drag and drop any parameter into the modulation system to control it. Includes an innovative convolution reverb with custom impulse responses.

Concept includes over 200 diverse presets designed by Mercury Award-winning music producers Roni Size (Reprazent, Universal), Richard Devine (Google, Warp Records), Kayla Painter (Brownswood Recordings), Dom Ruckspin (Ninja Tune) and Heiroglyphic Being (Mathematics Records).
