The rhythms of modern electronic music are created by classic step sequencers, especially the ""TR-REC"" style that was established in early Roland drum machines. The TR-6S also uses the same TR-REC style input method. In addition, it is equipped with modern functions such as real-time recording, delicate expression with sub-steps, and motion recording that records knob movements. It has programming functions that can be used in any genre.
