Generate, developed by Newfangled Audio, is a polyphonic synthesizer that combines several innovative and chaotic oscillators with all the features you would expect from a first-class synthesizer.

Create beautiful and complex pads, warm moving keys, jittery sequence basses, uncontrollable leads, and ""wow"" textures.

■Create chaos
Generation is based on a set of chaos generators. Although they seem random at first, they contain fundamental patterns, interconnections, constant feedback loops, repetition, self-similarity, fractals and self-organization. Each of Generate's five chaos generators draws on these fundamental patterns to create oscillators that can smoothly fade from sine waves to complete chaos. The resulting musical textures include distortion, harmonics, grunge, static and noise. All of these can be tuned predictably or unpredictably.

■Control the Chaos
Generate's chaos generators are routed through a selection of Buchla Wavefolders, or new animated or fractal Wavefolders, each of which adds unique harmonics. A low pass gate inspired by the ideas of Don Buchla follows. Combine these modules to create versatile and musical voices with their own unique flavor.

■Tune the Chaos
All parameters of Generate's voices can be modulated by a combination of two envelope generators, two LFOs, a sample and hold/random generator, an 8-step sequencer, and MIDI and MPE sources. The innovative modulation interface lets you easily and quickly patch any combination of sources to any destination to create sounds that move and shift.

■Add effects to the chaos
Generate's voices are followed by unparalleled EQ, chorus, delay, reverb and limiters to send chaotic sounds into outer space or into the listener's face.
