The Radial HDI is a new studio DI equipped with an extra-large Jensen custom transformer and a unique COLOR control.
By turning the COLOR control in the center of the unit, you can intuitively blend clean sounds with distorted sounds characterized by saturation. In addition to a 1/4"" TS phone input for connecting bass or acoustic guitar, the input is equipped with a 3.5mm mono input that can handle high signal levels such as modular synths.

The XLR output also provides a line level output of up to +25dBu in addition to the balanced microphone level output found in typical DIs. These XLR outputs are independent of each other, allowing you to simultaneously supply a microphone level output to your favorite microphone preamp and a line level output to an audio IF.
