The Superstar Classic is an all-maple shell drum set. The thinly molded maple shell responds sensitively to any tuning, producing a pleasant sound with a bright and clear sound. In addition, the hoops are made of outwardly curved steel, which further enhances the open and flexible sound of the maple. The depth of the toms is slightly shallow, making it easier to add expression to fill-ins and allowing for a wide range of height settings when mounted on the bass drum. ■Drum set
