This is a TAMA snare drum. This is a limited edition model with a shell finish that features drip painting, which is a first for S.L.P.

Based on its predecessor, the S.L.P. Power Maple, this limited edition model features a shell finish with a drip paint finish, which is a first for S.L.P.
The maple wood has an open sound and is molded into a deep body measuring 14” x 6.5”. While featuring an acoustic sound, the deep 6.5"" size and the voluminous 42-strand snare create a punchy sound with a thick core and a fat resonance. The hoop is made of an inwardly curved 2.3mm Sound Arc Hoop, which moderately suppresses overtones and creates a tight sound image. The grain of the Maple Burl used for the outer ply also beautifully accentuates the Midnight Mocha Stream finish with its unique drip painting.
