The Black TUSQ XL series is made of black material, which makes it a perfect match for the design of your instrument.
The TUSQ XL series maintains proper tuning for longer than any other nut/saddle made of synthetic resin such as graphite or plastic. It also produces a crystal clear tone, which results in improved sustain. The fact that TUSQ XL is used by guitar manufacturers around the world is proof of its high reliability.
When the string vibrates, TUSQ XL releases micro molecules of Teflon. These molecules cover the TUSQ XL. XL minimizes string friction to reduce tuning errors. And because these Teflon molecules are released from the nut, they do not disappear and are always effective as a lubricant.
