■How to make takoyaki
1. Make the batter using commercially available takoyaki mix.
2. Cut your favorite octopus, green onions, red pickled ginger, etc. to different sizes.
3. While heating the unit, spread cooking oil and mix thoroughly.
4. Heat the unit and pour the well-mixed batter from step 1 into the hole.
5. Put the octopus from step 2 into the hole and sprinkle the other ingredients on top of the batter.
6. When the edges of the holes have hardened, separate the holes with a bamboo skewer, move the excess batter toward the hole, and rotate it around the edge to turn it over.
*If the batter contains a lot of water, such as when cooking takoyaki, use the top and bottom of the unit separately.
*If you stack the top and bottom of the pan and cook it in a sandwiched state, too much batter will leak out during cooking and the pan will fail.
■How to make baby castella
1. Make the batter using commercially available pancake mix. It is recommended to add a little more sugar.
2. Lightly heat the top and bottom of the pan and thoroughly coat with cooking oil.
3. Connect the top and bottom of the pan and put plenty of batter into the bottom part on the stove. Be careful not to let it overflow from the recess.
4. Cover the top, lock it, and heat over medium heat for about 1 minute.
5. Flip it over while still locked, and heat over medium heat for 1 minute 30 seconds.
6. Flip it over again and heat over medium heat for 30 seconds.
7. Turn off the heat, and when the batter and steam starting to spray out of the gaps in the pan weakens, unlock it and slowly open it to check the inside.
8. Once you can see that it is browned to the right degree, remove it from the pan. If it is burnt, use chopsticks or a small turner to remove it.
*Depending on the amount of dough and water, dough may come out from between the parts of the body during heating.
*When opening the body, never bring your face close to it. The dough inside may pop out forcefully due to internal pressure.
*When opening the body, turn off the heat and wait until the steam stops escaping before doing so.
■How to make Ajillo
1. Cut your favorite ingredients (bacon, cherry tomatoes, mushrooms, Camembert cheese, etc.) into bite-sized pieces.
2. Mix olive oil with a small amount of grated garlic, salt, and black pepper.
3. Fill the hole in the takoyaki maker with the oil mixed in step 2 to about 1/3 of the depth, and when it starts to boil, add the ingredients from step 1.
4. Heat the ingredients while turning them occasionally. When the ingredients are cooked through, it's finished. Serve on French bread or other bread as you like.
*Be careful not to add too much olive oil. Oil will overflow when you add ingredients.
*Oil will splash, so be sure to drain the ingredients thoroughly before adding them. Be careful of oil splashes when cooking.
