Kluson-type machine heads are said to be inferior in performance and durability to Rotomatic-type machine heads due to their structure. The SD510 series uses a self-center guide and a rock solid string post to minimize eccentricity in installation and improve performance. It also has a torque balancer to stabilize the rotation of the knob, and by using the appropriate materials for each part, it improves not only performance and durability but also sound quality.
