You can use four AAA batteries or a separately sold power adapter.

Notes on power supply
Each model is battery powered. 16 is 4 AAA batteries. The 170 and 400 are powered by 8 AA batteries.
Each model can also be powered with a power supply, but the product does not include a power supply. To drive with a power supply, the AC/DC adapter described below is required separately.
Never use a power adapter whose polarity is center positive with this product. It may cause a malfunction.
Be sure to remove the batteries from the battery holder before connecting the AC/DC adapter to the DC plug of the main unit. It may cause a malfunction.

Warning:
Do not connect headphones directly. It may damage the equipment or hearing.
Do not connect the outputs from 400 and 170 to equipment that is not designed to handle large voltages.
Be sure to connect each module correctly. If the + and-polarities are connected incorrectly, there is no protection circuit, which may lead to damage to the equipment. In such a case, the product is not covered by the warranty.

Use the dedicated po output to synchronize with the PO (Pocket Operator) series.
Tip!

It is also possible to use the LFO module that outputs at 5V.
