The GA-47/67 Extended (JE) is a highly accurate replica model inspired by the Neumann (Telefunken) U-47 and compatible with Neumann U-67 style capsules.

The U-47, a vacuum tube condenser microphone debuted by German manufacturer Neumann in the late 1940s, was created during an era that ushered in the shift from ribbon microphones, the mainstream recording microphone, to condenser microphones. With its large sound image and expressive sound that captures the tones of musical instruments, it has carved a place in history as a permanent fixture in studios around the world.

It also comes with a U67-type capsule, which, like the U47 and ELA-M251, has been loved worldwide as a vocal microphone, and is designed to be interchangeable by simply replacing the capsule unit. The U-47 and U-67 have different characters that have traditionally been used depending on the song and vocal quality, but by packaging them in a capsule-interchangeable format, you can obtain the ultimate vocal microphone sound that rivals the others.
