While dramatically improving the sampling process and sound quality, the MPC X, which can be said to be a tradition of MPC, supports direct sampling from analog records. It is the culmination of feedback from passionate MPC users and years of technical development by Akai Professional.

・While following the traditional MPC operability such as dedicated menu buttons and a large master encoder knob, it is equipped with 16 touch-sensitive Q-Link knobs, each with an OLED (organic light-emitting diode) display.
・Accurately displays each parameter and records expressive control.
・16GB of onboard storage comes pre-installed with 10GB of high-quality sounds, samples, and kits from Capsun Audio, MVP Loops, CR2 Records, and other industry-leading brands.
