※What is Karin wood?
Karin is a very large tree that is produced in Southeast Asia, unlike Japanese Karin. It is used for both the neck and the body because it has very little warping.
The neck is mainly used for practice, but the body is made of Karin wood even in the highest quality products. The better the body, the more Karin wood with clearer grain and tighter grain is used.
