The M-Track 8X4M features an elegant metal chassis, a large monitor volume knob, and transparent, low-noise Crystal preamps and A/D converters for best-in-class audio performance. The M-Track 8X4M features four XLR/1/4"" TRS combo inputs, two 1/4"" line inputs, and two 1/4"" instrument inputs. The instrument inputs feature specially designed gain and impedance stages for accurate signal reception when directly connecting a guitar or bass. MIDI inputs and outputs are also included. The M-Track 8X4M also features a stereo pair of 1/4"" studio monitor outputs and two assignable 1/4"" outputs. Two headphone outputs with independent source and level controls allow two musicians to monitor their own mixes while recording. The M-Track 8X4M also features a USB-C port for connecting to Mac and PC. Comprehensive Input/Output Capabilities
The M-Track 8X4M has eight inputs for recording up to eight channels simultaneously. Four XLR/ADC inputs with Crystal Preamps™ and phantom power are available. The TRS mic/line combo input is ideal for recording vocals, acoustic guitar, guitar/bass amps, and drums. The two 1/4"" instrument inputs feature specially designed gain and impedance staging for clean input from guitar, bass, and keyboards. The two 1/4"" line inputs provide uncolored connections ideal for tube preamps, keyboards, synths, and more. Additionally, MIDI I/O allows for connection and synchronization with peripherals.

Mixing and Monitoring
The M-Track 8X4M features a large, convenient metal monitor volume knob in the center for adjusting the volume of your studio monitors. The monitor and headphone outputs feature direct mono/stereo switches and direct/USB mixes. The two 1/4"" headphone outputs each have independent volume and input source selection switches for maximum monitoring flexibility. Additionally, the rear panel features two 1/4"" monitor outputs and two outputs for connecting outboard gear.
