■ Piano organ sound source
The Hammond B-3X is a Hammond B-3 virtual instrument that runs on your Mac/PC. IK Multimedia has co-developed the Hammond B-3X with Hammond Organ Company from Chicago, Illinois, USA, and Suzuki Musical Instrument Corporation from Hamamatsu to reproduce the real B-3 sound in the digital world.
The sound of the Hammond B-3X is created not only by faithfully reproducing the sound of the organ itself, but also by combining multiple effects. In addition to stomp effects, Leslie Rotary cabinets, guitar amps that can be mixed in parallel, post effects such as compressors and EQs are also available. Comprehensive sound shaping is possible after reproducing the signal flow just like an actual machine.
The Hammond B-3X provides the ultimate in realism, so the sound is based on the same mechanical movements as a real organ. The Hammond B-3X samples the sound produced by the 91 tonewheels that are the source of the tone from a carefully maintained Hammond organ, and mixes and generates the sound in real time according to the key and drawbar settings to be played. doing.
IK Multimedia's modeling technology faithfully reproduces the chorus and vibrato circuits in addition to tone filtering, key clicks, and Hammond's iconic percussion sound. All controls and circuits were modeled according to IK's rigorous standards and repeatedly checked by the Hammond Organ Company.
The Hammond B-3X can also simulate different conditions depending on the age. You can control the tone balance, musical noise caused by generator leaks and crosstalk, and the boost of the chorus circuit.
True sound and real feeling
The Hammond B-3X is designed to give you the feeling of playing an actual B-3 digitally without any discomfort. From the chorus/vibrato to the placement of the percussion switch, all the elements are reproduced like the actual machine. The black-and-white inversion key can save 24 types of custom drawbar settings, and you can switch tones in real time. Also, in the Controls view, which is ideal for live use, you can hide the keyboard and zoom in on the drawbars and switches. It also supports the latest Hammond Digital Organ MIDI assignments, so
You can play or perform immediately.

5 types of stomp effects
In the STOMPS section, you can use five stomp boxes (overdrive, graphic EQ, stomp chorus & vibrato, pedal wah, and spring reverb) extracted from the familiar AmpliTube and T-RackS. Carefully scrutinized for a wide range of sounds, these effects can be MIDI assigned for control when using the stage.
Realistic Leslie sound
In the CABS section, you can use the Leslie unit modeling cultivated in the Leslie Collection, and the guitar amp and cabinet modeling excerpted from AmpliTube 4. It achieves the same sound make-up as an actual Leslie unit or guitar amp. With the mixer, you can also control the mix of Leslie and guitar amps, as well as D.I. sounds.
The final finish is also a single unit
The final stage of the Hammond B-3X is equipped with a compressor, EQ, and reverb, so you can finish the sound with just the B-3X. These are excerpts from the industry standard T-Rack S.
The LIMITER 76 is a FET type compressor that can create a standard sound with a core. The EQ-81 adds the smooth sound shaping and warmth of a classic console. Add breadth and depth to your sound with the final digital reverb.
The sound of the tonewheel is output after applying deep and flexible sound make-up including a Leslie speaker through controls just like a real machine. The Hammond B-3X's sound, created from the same behavior as a real Hammond organ, provides a next-generation playing experience suitable for Hammond official recognition.
