IK Multimedia, in collaboration with the Hammond Organ Company in Chicago, Illinois, USA, and Suzuki Musical Instrument Manufacturing Co., Ltd. in Hamamatsu, developed Hammond B-3X to recreate the authentic B-3 sound in the digital world.

A simple package with a serial number will be delivered to your specified address. Simply register the serial number on the manufacturer's website and download the installer.

The Hammond B-3X's sound is created not only by faithfully recreating the organ's original sound, but also by combining multiple effects. It includes stomp effects, a Leslie rotary cabinet, and parallel-mixable guitar amps, as well as post-effects like compressors and EQs. Comprehensive sound shaping is possible while recreating the signal flow exactly like the original.

To deliver the ultimate in realism, the Hammond B-3X's sound is based on the same mechanical operation as a real organ. The Hammond B-3X samples the sounds generated by the 91 tonewheels from a meticulously maintained Hammond organ, and then mixes and generates the sound in real time according to the keys played and the drawbar settings.

IK Multimedia's modeling technology faithfully recreates the tone filtering, key click, and iconic Hammond percussion sounds, as well as the chorus and vibrato circuits. Every control and circuit was modeled to IK's strict standards and further verified by the Hammond Organ Company.

The Hammond B-3X also simulates the aging of the organ. You can control the tonal balance, musical noise caused by generator leakage and crosstalk, and the boost level of the chorus circuit.

True Sound and Feel
The Hammond B-3X is designed to seamlessly recreate the feel of an authentic B-3 in digital form. Everything from the chorus/vibrato to the percussion switch placement is faithfully reproduced, just like the original. The inverted keys allow you to save 24 custom drawbar settings, allowing you to switch between tones in real time. Additionally, the Controls view is ideal for live use, allowing you to hide the keyboard and view expanded drawbars and switches. It also supports MIDI assignments for the latest Hammond digital organs, so you can start playing and performing immediately.

Five Stomp Effects
The STOMPS section provides access to five stompboxes (overdrive, graphic EQ, stomp chorus & vibrato, pedal wah, and spring reverb) taken from familiar AmpliTube and T-RackS. These effects have been carefully selected to reproduce a wide range of sounds, and can be MIDI-assigned for control on stage.

Realistic Leslie Sound
The CABS section features Leslie unit modeling developed through the Leslie Collection, as well as guitar amp and cabinet modeling extracted from AmpliTube 4. This allows you to create sounds that are just like the actual Leslie unit and guitar amp. The mixer also allows you to control the mix of the Leslie, guitar amp, and D.I. sound.

Finishing Touches on Their Own
The Hammond B-3X's final stage is equipped with a compressor, EQ, and reverb, allowing you to complete the sound finishing touches on the B-3X alone. These are extracted from the industry-standard T-RackS.

The LIMITER 76 is a FET-type compressor that creates a classic, solid sound. The EQ-81 adds smooth sound shaping and warmth, just like classic consoles. The final digital reverb adds width and depth to your sound.

The tonewheel sound is output after passing through controls just like the real thing, and undergoing deep, flexible sound shaping, including a Leslie speaker. The Hammond B-3X's sound, produced in the same way as a real Hammond organ, delivers a next-generation playing experience worthy of Hammond's official endorsement.
