The Interface
Poly is equipped with a full range of MIDI inputs. Connect computers, smartphones, and tablets via the USB port, class-compliant MIDI controllers via the USB host, and all other MIDI devices via the traditional MIDI DIN port. All analog outputs provide versatile functionality for connecting to a variety of modules. Eight channels of gate, pitch, velocity, and modulation allow for flexible control of synth voices and drums.

MPE (MIDI POLYPHONIC EXPRESSION) Compatibility
MPE is a new MIDI specification officially adopted by the MIDI Association in February 2018. It supports polyphonic performances such as pressing and shaking keys while playing, which are common in recent MIDI controllers and synth apps. This allows for even more nuanced performance than previous MIDI standards.

Three Modes, Totally Different Possibilities
Choose from three modes: First, Next, or Channel, depending on your purpose. Both First and Next modes are ideal for building your own polyphonic synthesizers. In Channel mode, you can use the dip switches on the back of the panel to select MIDI channels 1-8 or notes C-G sent to the corresponding CV voices.
