～What is EXC (Excellent Cryo Treatment)～
Excellent cryo treatment (EXC) was carried out by SQI and one of Japan's leading heat treatment specialists, known for its deep knowledge of ultra-subzero treatment, with the aim of ""improving sound quality"". Finally, Montreux Co., Ltd. has received technology from SQI (Sound Quality Eye Co., Ltd.) and will begin selling new products. As a result of verifying the cooling process (the process of removing heat from the components), the settling process (the process of moving atoms), and the gradual cooling process (the process of returning from an extremely low temperature state to room temperature), researching the temperature range, and refining temperature control technology, we have succeeded in achieving high-quality sound with outstanding transparency, resolution, and realism. Furthermore, the ""realignment of molecules and removal of impurities"" by accurate ordering has brought about a natural feeling in the midrange and a rigid feeling in the low range. Although EXC is disadvantageous in terms of cost, it uses a rare gas method rather than the commonly used liquid method because it is necessary to treat delicate audio products. This makes it possible to apply cryogenic treatment not only to metals such as steel and non-ferrous metals (aluminum, copper, etc.), but also to organic materials such as resin. Moreover, all processes are computer-controlled to maintain stable quality.
