●By adopting a strong frame structure, it is possible to attach thinner plywood than conventional cajons, allowing you to play with a rich sound. In addition, by changing the number and thickness of plywood, the tone of each striking surface can be precisely tuned, and a wide range of expressiveness has been achieved. By attaching a snare used for the resonating strings, a crisp reverberation sound can be obtained, and the tension can be adjusted at two points above and below the striking surface, so it is possible to change the sound depending on the position where you strike, for example, to make the low notes tight and the high notes loose. In addition, the main front striking surface is coated, so it can also be used with brush playing.
●In the higher-end model CAJ-100W, inspired by the structure of the djembe, a soundboard that is unparalleled in conventional cajons has been added, achieving a unique sound and tight bass. The soundboard has an arched shape that applies drum shell molding technology, incorporating unique ideas unique to drum manufacturers.
