The UWP-D series portable diversity tuner (URX-P40) can be attached to the camera's MI shoe (multi-interface shoe)
- Audio signals can be transmitted from the receiver to the camera without the need for a cable.
- By connecting to a camera equipped with a multi-interface shoe that supports digital audio input, the digital audio signal output from the receiver can be recorded directly by the camera, enabling audio recording with less noise.
- Some models (PXW-Z280 / Z190) can display the status of the wireless microphone on the LCD or viewfinder.
- Depending on the receiver settings, it is also possible to supply power from the camera to the receiver.
- If there are no batteries installed in the receiver, it will automatically switch to power supply from the camera. At this time, the receiver power can be turned on/off in conjunction with the camera.
