SPL / Crescendo 8

This is an 8-channel microphone preamplifier featuring SPL's 120V technology and a fully balanced signal flow.

*This product requires an AC 115V 50/60Hz outlet. Please note that it will not function correctly with a standard household outlet (AC 100V) without voltage boosting.

The Crescendo, utilizing SPL's 120V technology, is an 8-channel microphone preamplifier with a fully balanced signal flow.

The input stages utilize 10 pairs of matched PNP transistors (differential input transistors) to achieve extremely low noise and high common-mode rejection. Each of the eight input stages uses six 5th generation 120V SUPRA operational amplifiers.

The transformerless input/output stage design ensures highly linear amplification. The output stages operate as current amplifiers, providing Class-A operation with a quiescent current of 6mA or more.
