The 16-channel MADI effects processor UAD-2 Live Rack enables live sound engineers to achieve studio-quality mixes on location with real-time UAD processing and industry-leading UAD plug-ins.

Designed for the demanding live sound environments, up to four UAD-2 Live Rack units can be combined to process up to 64 channels of MADI signals.

■Live Rack Application
The Live Rack application provides FOH engineers with intuitive controls such as drag and drop, copy and paste, keyboard navigation, plug-in zoom, saving and recalling channel strip presets, and snapshotting settings.

Designed for seamless operation in a live setting, the Live Rack app features large text and a graphical interface for quick and easy parameter adjustments. It also features MIDI snapshot recall and software integration with networked Soundcraft Vi consoles.

■Safety Features
UAD-2 Live Rack is equipped with professional safety features to withstand the demands of live sound applications. Internal redundant power supplies ensure that UAD-2 Live Rack continues processing audio even if one power supply fails. If the Live Rack app or computer fails, or if the Thunderbolt cable is disconnected, UAD-2 Live Rack processes audio with the last plug-in settings configured. Additionally, when the Live Rack app is in ""Safe Mode,"" it prevents disruptive configuration changes from being made during a show.
