■ The UAD-2 Live Rack Core comes with basic UAD plug-ins such as the Teletronix LA-2A, 1176 compressor, and Pultec EQ.

The 16-channel MADI effects processor UAD-2 Live Rack enables live sound engineers to use real-time UAD processing and industry-leading UAD plug-ins to deliver studio-quality mixes in the field.

Designed to withstand the rigors of live sound, you can combine up to four UAD-2 Live Rack units for signal processing over up to 64 channels of MADI.

・Connect to Soundcraft Vi console via Ethernet for snapshot CUE control
(Belkin USB-C to Gigabit Ethernet adapter and Cat 5 Ethernet cable are required separately)
・Thunderbolt 3 connection with Mac (for UAD plug-in control)

■ Live Rack application
The Live Rack application gives FOH engineers intuitive access to drag-and-drop, copy-and-paste, keyboard navigation, plug-in zoom, save and recall channel strip presets, and snapshot settings.

Designed for smooth operation in live settings, the Live Rack app has a large text and GUI that allows you to adjust parameters quickly and easily. It also features MIDI snapshot recall and software integration with a networked Soundcraft Vi console.

■ Safety device function
UAD-2 Live Rack is equipped with professional safety features to withstand live sound applications that require high reliability. Due to the internal redundant power supply, UAD-2 Live Rack will continue audio processing even if one of the power supplies fails. If the Live Rack app or computer fails, or if the Thunderbolt cable isn't connected, UAD-2 Live Rack will handle the audio with the last plug-in settings you made. Also, if the Live Rack app is in "safe mode", it will prevent catastrophic configuration changes during the show.
