An ultra-compact drum machine has arrived from Italy's IK Multimedia, which is known for its product lineup of music apps and peripherals that can be used on mobile devices. It is a brother model of the analog (hardware) synthesizer UNO Synth, and like UNO Synth, it is a drum machine jointly developed with the Italian analog synthesizer maker Soundmachines. It is a model that can be easily programmed while having a hybrid specification that combines a fat, punchy analog sound with a PCM sample, and advanced programming functions.

Drum has a built-in 64-step sequencer, and you can program fine drum patterns with just the main unit. You can use the pads on the panel to step through patterns or record patterns in real time.
In order to create a more natural groove, it is also possible to automate the eight parameters included in the tone step by step. You can save the programmed pattern as a song that combines up to 64 patterns. Each pattern in the song can be triggered freely in any order.

Drum is designed to integrate with your computer-based DAW system at home and set up with iOS mobile devices such as the iPad. In addition to USB MIDI, MIDI IN / OUT with a 2.5 mm jack allows you to easily connect and play traditional MIDI devices. In addition, the UNO Drum itself has an audio input, so you can daisy-chain other synthesizers such as the UNO Synth without an additional mixer.
