■Channel Strip

The BAE 1084 is designed in exactly the same way as the original NEVE 1084, with the same chassis structure, Elma switches, and Carnhill transformers. Introduced 10 years after the 1073, the 1084 has several enhancements, notably a selectable HF frequency center and low-pass filter.

- Class A, transformer-coupled design in a 1U chassis
- 80dB GAIN supports low output ribbon microphones
- Input impedance switchable from 1200-300Ω
- Supports line level input
- High impedance DI for guitars, basses, etc.
- Equipped with polarity reversal switch
- Equipped with the same Carnhill St Ives transformer as the 1073 and 1084
