■Features
- Quantize pitch modulation by scale to create complex melodic sequences.
- Continuously variable unison with two modes: Classic and Chord.
- The wavetable oscillator features a variety of waveform processing functions, including aliasing control.
- In addition to standard modulation sources, it also includes specialized sources such as turning and binary random generators.
- Gate/retrigger functions are available in the modulator, allowing you to create unique rhythmic sequences and patches that self-sound even without input.
- Even polyrhythmic sequences using the randomness function can be made more musical by adjusting the scale.

■Wavetable vs. Virtual Analog
Pigments features two synth engines. You can freely combine virtual analog and wavetable synthesis.

■Virtual Analog Triple Oscillator Engine
Select from a variety of components from historic instruments, based on award-winning analog emulations. Sine, sawtooth, triangle, and square waveforms each feature individual adjustment parameters.

■ Complex Wavetable Engine
Pigments' advanced wavetable synth engine lets you create your own signature sound. Choose from over 100 wavetables, freely select and morph waveform snapshots, and even import waveforms—the possibilities are truly endless.

■ Future Filters
This powerful synthesizer features a twin morphing filter. Choose from a total of eight filter types, including the legendary self-oscillating ladder filter and cutting-edge surgeon, formant, and comb filters. Flexible filter routing allows for ultimate sonic control.

■ Boundless Modulation
While the modules in Pigments may seem like familiar paints to you, here are some modulation features that reveal the instrument's true power.

Pigments introduces a completely new modulation method. Any parameter can be modulated, with unlimited connections. The graphical display of timbre changes allows for source-based and destination-based editing. The visual interface is easy to understand, and you can see how each parameter is changing visually.

■Keyboard
The keyboard panel is an on-screen MIDI keyboard that allows you to audition timbres and provides visual feedback of the signals Pigments is receiving from external controllers or your DAW.

■Three Envelopes
Powerful, multi-parameter envelopes allow for standard static use, or dynamic use with flexible modulation, allowing you to freely select source and destination.

■Three LFOs
Three is the magic number. The fully customizable LFOs can be synced and modulated to create the exact sound you're looking for.

■Customizable Function Generators
Three editable function generators are included, including one-shot subsequences and endless loop animations. Assigning animations to any parameter makes Pigments easy and fun, making advanced sound creation easy and fun.

■Randomizer
Whether you're creating exciting random or limited random synth sounds, Pigments gives you complete freedom. It offers a variety of built-in random functions, including turning, binary, and sample & hold.

■Two Combinators
Choose a source parameter, a modulator, and how you want to modulate these two to create a new Combinator. Combinators let you create experimental modulations while your imagination is still hot.

■Powerful Effects
Once you've created a sound with parameters that best suit your imagination and achieved the animation you want, the next step is to add the finishing touches with studio-grade effects. Pigments is equipped with two insert buses and one send bus, each with a choice of 13 effects. You can also sync effect parameters to modulation.
