For professional performances, it features the same ""COLOR ON JOG DISPLAY"" as the DDJ-1000, as well as a ""FEEDBACK REDUCER"" that reduces microphone feedback.

Small and lightweight for high portability
Compared to the DDJ-1000, the DDJ-1000 is approximately 78% smaller in volume and weighs approximately 1.3 kg less, making it easy to carry to a variety of locations.

COLOR ON JOG DISPLAY FOR FASTER AND MORE ACCURATE PERFORMANCE
Each jog wheel is equipped with a high-resolution LCD display. This displays essential information at your fingertips, including track information such as playback time, BPM, and waveform, as well as ""CUE SCOPE,"" which shows the distance from the current playback position to the ""HOT CUE"" or ""LOOP"" setting point in measure units. This allows for faster and more accurate mixing, scratching, and other operations.

Two independent microphone inputs and a feedback reducer to reduce feedback
Equipped with two independent microphone inputs, the DS-1000 allows multiple DJs to use microphones without interrupting the DJ performance. Furthermore, rekordbox dj's built-in feedback reducer instantly detects and reduces the frequency of feedback, even if it occurs during a performance.

Inherits the layout of the club-standard model
The buttons, knobs, and faders are positioned and operated in the same way as the CDJ-2000NXS2 multi-player and DJM-900NXS2 DJ mixer, both of which are permanent fixtures in clubs for professional DJs and clubs, providing the same playability and feel as the club-standard model.

Equipped with audio mixer functionality, it allows you to adjust the volume of external input sounds.
When connected to rekordbox dj, the DDJ-800 functions as a DJ mixer, allowing you to control the TRIM, channel fader, EQ, SOUND COLOR FX, and BEAT FX for the audio input from external devices. When not connected to rekordbox dj, the DDJ-800 can also function as a standalone mixer, allowing you to adjust the volume by controlling the TRIM, channel fader, and EQ.
