The sound engine uses high-quality digital samples. 300 preset sounds from Splice range from familiar kicks, snares, and hi-hats to exotic and never-before-heard sounds. Easily customize samples to your taste with just a few tweaks. Transfer your own samples or use carefully crafted custom sound packs.

■Dedicated Knobs
In a first for Elektron, this machine features controls, each with its own assigned function. All of these controls are located on the front panel. Simply grab a knob and turn. Six sturdy, velocity-sensitive pads let the music flow naturally. Record every movement live, or use Elektron's powerful sequencer to gradually input data.

■Portable
