■ Features: The biggest feature of the M80 is the newly designed low-mass voice coil and ultra-thin Mylar diaphragm and custom output transformer made by AMI/TAB-Funkenwerk. This newly designed diaphragm can convert the sound into an electrical signal with high efficiency without changing the ""tone"" that was lost with the previous ""heavy"" diaphragm and voice coil, and the output transformer made by AMI/TAB-Funkenwerk produces a sound with the unique warmth of good old analog audio while still having presence.
The proximity effect in the low frequencies is well controlled, making this an excellent microphone that is recommended for recording vocals as well as drums and bass.
