A software guitar sound source that delivers realistic Stratocaster tones. MusicLab's ""REAL STRAT 5"" is a dedicated Stratocaster software sound source that is based on high-quality sampled sounds, but also thoroughly pursues the expressiveness of guitar playing on a MIDI keyboard/MIDI sequencer, and employs a number of unique functions to deliver an unprecedented level of realistic guitar performance.

MusicLab's ""REAL STRAT 5"" is a software sound source specifically for the Stratocaster. While based on high-quality sampled sounds, it thoroughly pursues the expressiveness of guitar playing on a MIDI keyboard/MIDI sequencer, incorporating numerous unique features to deliver unprecedentedly realistic guitar performances. The specially developed interface features highly advanced MIDI management functions, allowing you to easily and surprisingly realistically reproduce a variety of guitar-specific playing techniques on a MIDI keyboard or sequencer, from solo phrases to chord backings and arpeggios, which could not be reproduced with conventional sampling libraries or software.

The REAL STRAT 5 is comprised of two instruments (software sound engines): the REAL STRAT ELITE and the REAL STRAT STANDARD. The REAL STRAT ELITE features newly recorded electric guitar sounds. It features switches for selecting bridge, mid, and neck pickups, and supports baritone tuning, offering a wide range of versatility. The REAL STRAT STANDARD adds effects and several new features to the functionality of the REAL STRAT 4.

To recreate a more ""real"" performance, the REAL STRAT 5 features Multi-Performance Technology. Previous versions featured dedicated modes for arpeggios, chord strums, and other techniques, limiting performance to those specific styles. The new Multi-Mode lets you customize your playing style—strumming, soloing, picking, and more—on a single screen, unlocking a wide range of possibilities. Additionally, by using the ""Humanize"" option, which was introduced in the REAL STRAT 4, you can apply randomization effects to a total of nine parameters, including pick position, pitch, velocity, and note timing, for an even more ""realistic"" performance.

*This product only comes with a wah effect. If you want to use other effects such as overdrive or amp simulator, you will need a separate external effect.
