OP-Z is a fully-featured, advanced portable 16-track sequencer, covering a wide range of sounds from samples to synthesis. It's the world's only sequencer that can run standalone and sequence music, visuals, lighting, and more.

With an intuitive LED-based interface, OP-Z can be operated completely standalone. For even more visual feedback, use the ""screen""*—the device you already have in your pocket—for a whole new level of real-time display and control. (Currently supports iOS.)

■Component-based step sequencing
One of the fundamental concepts of OP-Z is the ability to play and manipulate each track completely independently of the others. You can set different speeds, lengths, and loop points for each track. You can even make tracks jump back and forth, creating irregular, random movements. Even short sequences can be varied, both large and small, by repeating them.

In OP-Z, a song is divided into multiple tracks, each made up of sequence steps. This familiar approach is enhanced with a completely new element: ""step components,"" which allow you to add instructions for each step from different angles. This new tool allows you to create rich, dynamic, and deep tracks, something traditional sequencers have long sought.

Each track on OP-Z is polymetric, meaning you can dynamically set the length from 1 to 144 steps. This lets you control the complexity of your tracks, from perfectly quantized beats to completely non-matching beats. And with real-time melody analysis, you can automatically transpose entire six-octave sequences into different scales at any time.

■Your own screen
OP-Z connects wirelessly to your iOS device. Thanks to BLE technology's low-power mode, OP-Z can run for hours without needing to be charged, while remaining synced to the screen.

The OP-Z app lets you see your music in real time with numerical and graphical feedback. See the balance of each instrument in the mixer and the amount of effects assigned at a glance.

The addition of a screen opens up new possibilities for interacting with your OP-Z. Use multi-touch to adjust multiple mixer sliders, or use the touchpad for smooth control of effects and filters, making it ideal for live performance.
