Pro-Iso makes it possible to connect professional audio equipment such as mixers that use balanced signals to consumer equipment such as recorders that use unbalanced signals. In addition to having a wide range of output terminals such as phone, RCA, and stereo mini, another attractive feature is the sturdy case with Radial's unique bookend style.

This is a stereo line level converter that converts a professional audio +4dB balanced signal to a consumer -10dB unbalanced signal. This allows a balanced signal mixer to be connected to an unbalanced signal recorder or computer.

The Pro Iso is a sister model of the Radial J-Iso, and the difference between the J-Iso and the J-Iso is the transformer it is equipped with. The J-Iso is equipped with the highest quality Jensen transformer for music, but the Pro Iso is equipped with an original transformer with excellent cost performance, and is optimized for the range of voices such as lectures and interviews. This unit is also a passive 100% discrete circuit. The output level can be adjusted to prevent overloading the equipment connected later.

In addition to 1/4 inch phone terminals (L/R) and RCA terminals (L/R), the output is equipped with a 1/8 inch mini phone terminal (stereo) for computers. The input and output of each channel are isolated by a transformer to prevent noise caused by ground loops.

It is designed to be extremely tough, even in the harsh conditions of professional use, and the 14-gauge steel case protects the transformer from external magnetism. It also uses a circuit board that is resistant to impact and twisting, and is less likely to peel off solder. The unique bookend-style case with protruding edges around the switches provides solid protection for the controls and switches.
