The PreSonus NSB 16.8 is a robust stage box that provides seamless integration with the StudioLive Series III. It allows signal routing from the stage to the mixer via an AVB network. It connects with a single CAT5e or CAT6 Ethernet cable, making it lightweight and ensuring no signal degradation. The NSB series' inputs, preamps, and phantom power settings can be remotely controlled.

A robust stage box that provides seamless integration with PreSonus StudioLive Series III. Signal routing from the stage to the mixer is possible via AVB networking. It connects with a single CAT5e or CAT6 Ethernet cable, making it lightweight and degrading. Inputs, preamps, and phantom power settings for the NSB series can be remotely controlled from a networked Series III or PreSonus UC Surface touch control software.

Equipped with PreSonus' signature remote-controllable Class A solid-state XMAX preamps with locking combo connectors. Outputs also feature locking XLR connectors. For additional inputs and outputs, the built-in 2-port AVB switch allows daisy-chaining of multiple units to accommodate even larger live performances.

■ AVB Network

AVB networking enables long-distance connection of digital audio devices, allowing for ultra-low latency audio routing anywhere on the network. AVB offers numerous advantages as a network protocol. It provides high-precision clocking, significantly reduces harmonic distortion and fading, and keeps audio clear and clean. AVB also pre-allocates sufficient bandwidth for transmitting low-latency audio; in other words, you can surf the web on the same network without any problems. These advantages are inherent to AVB. No special configuration is required on the device, and there's no need for an AVB switch.

Especially on long tours, damage to stage boxes is unavoidable no matter how carefully they are handled. However, no matter how demanding the conditions, stage box malfunctions are unacceptable. The NSB series features a robust steel chassis and is designed to withstand the rigors of touring. The NSB series blends seamlessly into the stage and can also be rack-mounted using an optional rack ear kit.
