A plug-in that enhances the functionality of plug-ins and DAWs themselves. A simple package version.
Have you ever wanted to enhance the functionality of your plug-ins or DAW itself? Nugen Audio's SigMod is a plug-in containing 12 modules that easily accomplishes tasks previously only possible with complex bus structures in your DAW. For example...
Use a stereo plug-in on an M/S (mid/side) track.
Protect your ears and speakers with the Protect module.
Set different effects for each band in a crossover.
Mute/solo only one channel of a stereo track.
SigMod makes it easy to accomplish tasks that were previously difficult to achieve with standard plug-ins or DAW functions.
Each module can be easily inserted, replaced, and moved. SigMod's comprehensive functionality allows you to be more creative.
System Expansion
The 12 modules incorporate many functions that are impossible or difficult to achieve without SigMod. Combine these modules in any order to design the routing you need. The GUI's auto-resize function always clearly displays the signal flow and functionality.
NEW! Insert VST3 Plug-ins into the Signal Chain
In January 2019, a new Insert VST3 module was added, allowing you to insert VST3 plug-ins into the SigMod signal chain in any DAW. With SigMod, you can use a wide variety of VST3 plug-ins in Pro Tools.
Use Stereo Plug-ins in Mid/Side Mode
Add mid/side functionality to popular stereo compressor and EQ emulation plug-ins, or create effects like mid/side delays and distortions by inserting a mid/side encoder/decoder into either the left or right plug-in instance.
Ensure Speaker and Hear Safety
When inserted into the output bus, the protection unit prevents bursts of noise or feedback due to system errors, safeguarding both your ears and your speakers. Manual or automatic reset options ensure the desired level of protection is maintained.
Tap and Crossover Modules
Want to try parallel processing? Just drop in the Tap module and you're ready to go. The Crossover module lets you easily split low and high frequencies and apply different effects to each frequency band. Avoid muddy lows and even create sweeping effects with automation.
DAW Enhancements
Some SigMod modules simplify features that are missing in certain DAWs or require complex setups. For example, you can solo, mute, or trim the left and right sides of a stereo signal, or easily invert a stereo L/R signal with a single click.
How would your mix sound in mono? Imagine the number of listeners listening to your music in a mono environment. The Mono module converts your signal from stereo to mono with a single click. The Phase module lets you easily check the phase relationship between the left and right channels.
Experimental Effects Processing
Check how your first plug-in sounds in mid-side mode. Split your vocals into six different frequency bands and then send them to a compressor with different settings. Process the 600-800Hz frequency band with your favorite guitar amp simulator, and add a giant hall reverb to the 13kHz and above frequency band. SigMod makes it super easy to try out these kinds of experimental effect processing.
