Ferrofish / PULSE16MX AD/DA converter

The Ferrofish/Pulse16 MX is an extremely cost-effective AD/DA converter with 16 channels of balanced analog input/output, four ADAT ports, and one MADI port, designed to deliver stable, uncompromising performance in professional studios and live environments.

With 16 channels per screen, or a total of 32 channels across two screens, the Pulse16 MX allows intuitive control, greatly expanding the variety of your system when combined with other audio interfaces.

For example, with devices equipped with two ADAT terminals, such as the RME Fireface UFX II or Fireface 802, you can seamlessly and cost-effectively connect 16 inputs and 16 outputs at 48kHz. When connected to devices equipped with four ADAT terminals, such as the Verto 32 or RME Digiface USB, you can seamlessly and cost-effectively connect 16 inputs and 16 outputs at 96kHz.

In addition, in a MADI network environment, 16 channels can be input and output at up to 192kHz, making it convenient for high-resolution recording when combined with the Verto MX, RME Fireface UFX+, or MADIface Pro. Furthermore, by connecting up to four Pulse16 MXs in a chain via MADI, you can transmit 64 analog inputs and 64 outputs at 48kHz.

The two TFT screens on the front panel display level meters for all input and output channels, for a total of 32 channels, allowing you to visually check the status of each channel. The headphone output allows monitoring of single channels, stereo pairs, and submixes, so using the Pulse16 MX improves reliability and maintenance in the field.
