UNIVERSAL AUDIO / UAD-2 LIVE RACK ULTIMATE

UNIVERSAL AUDIO/UAD-2 Live Rack is an effects processor that enables real-time live sound mixing using UAD plug-ins. Each unit provides 16 channel strips, each of which can host up to eight UAD plug-ins. Combining up to four UAD-2 Live Rack units allows for up to 64 channels of MADI audio signal processing.

The Mac controlling the UAD-2 Live Rack connects via Thunderbolt. The dedicated control software features an extremely simple user interface, specifically designed for live sound. Its comfortable and intuitive feel, especially when used with a touchscreen display, is unparalleled.

- Two models are available: the Core model, which comes with seven basic plug-ins including Teletronix LA?2A, 1176 compressors, and Pultec EQ, and the Ultimate model, which comes with 90 plug-ins.

- Licenses are shared when registered on the same system under the same account.

- Use UAD plug-ins licensed to your UAD account (additional purchases available from the UA Store).

- Two Thunderbolt 3 ports allow connection to Macs and other peripherals (compatible with Thunderbolt 1 and 2).

- The 1394b port on this product cannot be used.
