This 16-channel (8 line + 8 mic pre) model connects to your computer via USB 2.0 and can handle up to 16 channels at 96 kHz or 8 channels at 192 kHz.

The AURORA(n) features an analog signal path with independent, shielded circuits for each channel, even within a single rack space. This design delivers numerous audio advantages, including improved dynamic range and performance while significantly reducing crosstalk and distortion.

The newly designed high-performance sample clock technology, SynchroLock 2, delivers an astounding 300,000:1 jitter reduction, a 5-second lock time, and exceptional accuracy. Equipped with the LM-PRE4 microphone preamplifier, this unit's word clock input and output are 1-in/1-out via BNC connectors.

Despite its compact design, taking up only a single rack space, the AURORA(n)'s modular architecture offers excellent expandability. Optional LSlot cards allow for a variety of interfaces, including Thunderbolt 3, DANTE, ProTools|HD2, and USB. In addition, you can build a system tailored to your needs, including analog I/O modules, digital I/O modules, and microphone preamplifier modules, all in 8-channel increments. *
The USB model supports up to 16 simultaneous input and output channels at sample rates up to 96 kHz, and up to 8 input and output channels at 176.4/192 kHz.

Other features include a built-in microSD recorder supporting up to 32 channels of direct recording and playback, and two high-end audio-grade headphone outputs with independent volume controls, making this converter ideal for a wide range of applications.
