Brass cartridge mounting bolts and nuts offer better sound quality and strength than standard aluminum.

The BT-2 is a set of brass bolts and nuts used to attach cartridges to headshells. The wide variety of analog cartridges and their mounting dimensions necessitate the use of various lengths of mounting bolts. The commonly used aluminum screws are weak and often have adverse effects on sound quality. The BT-2 is a set of brass bolts and nuts that can be used in such cases. All bolts are made of brass with a non-magnetic base and 24-karat gold-plated finish. The set includes two bolts of seven lengths (6, 8, 12, 15, 18, 20, and 25 mm) and ten 4mm nuts. These longer screws can be used in combination with the simultaneously released WA-1 to adjust the weight of the headshell and cartridge. Fine-tuning can be achieved by adjusting the number of nuts and bolt lengths to uniform the headshell weight, making it easier to use. Uniform the combined weight of the cartridge and headshell, eliminating the need for tracking pressure adjustments when changing cartridges, making cartridge replacement easier. The nut that comes with the BT-2 has a small diameter of 4mm, so it can be easily fitted into the grooves on the cartridge body.
