■If you are unsure about which reed to choose for your clarinet, this is the standard model from Vandoren that you can't go wrong with.
■People often start playing with 2.5 (2-1/2, 2 1/2) or 3.0 (3rd reed).
■The tip of the reed is extremely thin, so it has excellent responsiveness.
■The center part of the reed, called the heart, is relatively thick, so it produces a core-like tone.
■Precisely processed and inspected to the nearest 1/100 mm.
■Each reed is individually wrapped in film in a plastic case. After opening, store the reed in a reed case (sold separately) to prevent distortion of the reed.
