Pioneer DJ / PC-X10

This stereo cartridge, jointly developed by Pioneer DJ and NAGAOKA, is ideal for DJ use. It achieves both high-output, high-resolution sound quality and needle skip suppression, a feat previously considered difficult. Even during the intense movements typical of DJ performances, such as scratching and back cuing, it maintains high sound quality while suppressing needle skipping. Its output is as high as 9.5 mV/1 kHz.

Suppresses needle skip during scratching and back cueing
We carefully selected the materials and shapes of various components, including the damper rubber and wire, and repeatedly adjusted even the finest details, such as the angle at which components are attached, to arrive at the optimal combination of elements that make up the product. Even during the intense movements typical of DJing, such as scratching, where the record is moved back and forth while playing, or back cueing, which puts strain on the fast-spinning needle, needle skip is suppressed while maintaining high sound quality.

High-output, high-resolution sound that reproduces analog sound even in large spaces
By assembling carefully selected coils and magnets in the optimal position, we achieved a high-output sound output of 9.5mV that resonates powerfully even in large spaces such as clubs, and high-resolution sound that faithfully reproduces the original sound of analog records. Furthermore, even when using a turntable to control DJ software installed on a PC/Mac, the control disc (*1) accurately tracks the signal sounds, enabling precise, precise playback.

Designed for Enhanced Needle Visibility
The stylus unit is designed to suit the DJ's unique style of quickly starting music from a specific playback position. The stylus unit's components are made of a translucent blue material that makes it easy to see the record grooves, and the stylus tip is colored white for precise tracking of the stylus's position.
