The legendary monophonic synth has evolved into the MiniBrute 2, allowing you to rewrite the ""genome"" of an analog synth through patching.

■ VCO 1
Each waveform—sawtooth, pulse, and triangle—features a unique modifier, plus direct FM control. It also features Ultra Saw, which produces a thick sound, and Metalizer, which adds complexity to the harmonics of triangle waves. It also features an FM (frequency modulation) function for creating rich tones.
■ VCO 2
Select from sine, sawtooth, or square waves. It offers three tuning modes: fine (fine adjustment), coarse (coarse adjustment), and LFO operation.
■ Oscillator Mixer
Mix the levels of each waveform in VCO 1 and VCO 2. It also supports mixing with a noise generator and external audio input.
■ Steiner-Parker Multimode Filter
Four modes—low pass, high pass, band pass, and notch—provide a robust sound. Resonance can be self-oscillated.
■ 4-Stage Envelope
ADSR-type envelope generator. ■ Brute Factor?
You can freely change the sound from a gentle overdrive at a low setting to a destructive sound with complex waveforms at its maximum.

■ AD Envelope
It can function as an AD envelope with attack and decay only, or an AHR envelope with attack, hold, and release, and can also be looped. Attack and decay times can also be controlled with CV.

■ Patch Bay
A total of 48 CV inputs and outputs are provided, allowing you to control various synth and sequencer parameters. A built-in utility module also allows for even more diverse sound creation.

■ Two LFOs
Each LFO has six built-in waveforms and can be synchronized with the sequencer, enabling high-speed modulation.

■ Sequencer/Arpeggiator
This highly flexible sequencer/arpeggiator allows you to easily create melodies and other phrases. It can be synchronized with MIDI clock via the USB port or MIDI terminal, and can also be synchronized with a DAW.
■ Performance Controls
Various parameters can be controlled with the modulation wheel and aftertouch, and the pitch bend amount can also be set.
■ Performance Controls
25-key velocity-sensitive, aftertouch-sensitive keyboard. Octave buttons allow transposition up to 5 octaves.
■ Audio In/Out
Line output, headphone output.
■ MIDI In/Out
Connect to a DAW or hardware MIDI device for synchronized performance.
■ USB In/Out
In addition to controlling the MiniBrute 2 from a DAW, you can also use the MiniBrute 2 as a master keyboard.
