■Dante/MADI Converter

EXBOX.MD is an Audio-over-IP to MADI converter based on Audinate's Dante audio networking technology. Equipped with three MADI ports and four network ports, it allows direct conversion of 64 audio channels between MADI and Dante. Its 1/3 1U footprint (rackmountable with an optional rack) makes it ideal for live performances, OB vans, and more.

Supports up to 32 streams (64 channels) and features the latest Dante firmware with AES67 compatibility. Front-panel LEDs provide at-a-glance confirmation of clocking, sample rate, device status, and power status.

EXBOX.MD is equipped with three MADI ports:

Optical SC multimode (single mode available with option)

Coaxial (BNC)

SFP (SFP module sold separately)

One of the three MADI INs is automatically selected as the input, and all three outputs operate in parallel.

Built-in Switch
The four network ports can be used in Dante Redundancy mode (Primary <> Secondary) or connected in Switch mode to an EXBOX.MD or other Dante devices to increase channel count.

The EXBOX.MD is controlled by Audinate's remote software, Dante Controller, and is also compatible with Dante Domain Manager.
