This is the ultimate virtual prepared piano, a collaboration between IRCAM, the world's most advanced acoustic music laboratory, and UVI. Samples were recorded in IRCAM's Paris laboratory, and IRCAM Prepared Piano features 45 techniques (preparations) used in contemporary music, created using world-class engineers and equipment.
This is the most flexible and sophisticated prepared piano on the market. The range of customization is unparalleled, with up to two preparations per note and microphone mixing in different positions.

IRCAM Prepared Piano includes 45 meticulously recorded preparations, totaling over 12,000 samples. These preparations can be configured for each note and combined. With over 40 different preparations, from common techniques like screws, erasers, coins, picks, and sticks to mallets, picks, bows, and even the EBow, you can freely experiment with different sounds. In addition, you can create two different preparations per note, mix them, and adjust their levels and pitches. In addition to una corda, sostenuto, dynamics, and velocity control, you can also customize individual preparations, mix two microphone positions, and apply bar hits and delays. SparkVerb, renowned for its high quality and ultra-low load, further enriches the piano's sound.
